Waking up this morning with a request to get some seasonal coffee offerings from the one called J-Wow, I crawled out of bed, got ready for Sunday Funday, and off we went to get buzzed at Better Buzz. I got the Blueberry Pancake Cold Brew while Joyce got the Miso Sweet and Salty Caramel Latte with coconut milk. Both drinks were light in flavor but balanced. While I didn't get much of a caffeine kick, even though I had a cold brew, it did its job for a socially packed Sunday. I've been enjoying this San Diego coffee chain. I hope you enjoy them too. ”

“ Love this spot! It can be super busy & the parking lot is small but there are two drive up lanes! Yummy menu and the drinks are definitely sweet, but you can order them 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 sweet. Highly recommend the orange matcha!! “ I recently visited Better Buzz Coffee and had an amazing experience overall! I tried their latte, which was absolutely fantastic--smooth, rich, and perfectly crafted. The avocado toast was really good too; the bread was fresh, and the toppings were flavorful. The only small downside was that the avocado was a bit colder than I'd prefer--it would have been perfect at room temperature. The atmosphere of the place is incredible, with a great vibe that makes you want to stay and hang out for a while. The servers were friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. The only drawback is the parking situation; it can be a bit tricky to find a spot, so plan accordingly. Despite that, I'll definitely be coming back. It's worth the trip! ”

“ We had to stop at Better Buzz for the holiday drinks. We got a cinnamon cream cold brew, and an iced matcha with vanilla chai foam (yum!). This location isn't in the best part of town and the parking lot is a bit congested, but they do have drive thru! The workers were super nice, helpful, and quick. Plus fantastic vibes inside and out. ”

“ So, for all of us eggnog latte-loving folk, I'm so happy to report that Better Buzz has this drink on their holiday menu! And it is YUMMY. I just ordered it hot and the staff was so kind to explain how it's made. I've always been curious how much ACTUAL eggnog is in this latte. At Better Buzz, they use a 1:1 mixture of eggnog and milk, which is steamed and added to the espresso shot(s). So, you really do get a good creamy eggnog taste, but it's not too heavy. With many of the large chain coffee shops removing eggnog from their holiday menus, it's so good to know I can still get my go-to holiday drink at Better Buzz. ”

“ Parking is tough but everything else is good ! Very cute atmosphere but not ideal for studying . Pretty cramped and loud - but it's just the vibe . Located across from a hand and stone massage place. Service with a smile and drinks came out fast . I got a regular iced matcha with light ice . They do sweeten the matcha powder and also add vanilla bean but you can get it less sweet . It comes a little sweet for my liking but it was a nice treat :) ”

“ I don't live near here, but wanted to find out what the buzz about this San Diego chain was all about. This Phoenix location is the first in Arizona for Better Buzz Coffee. I came here not too long after their opening when the lines were still a little crazy. I feel that they were efficient in moving the line as best as they could. Better Buzz Coffee serves a variety of handcrafted coffee and espresso drinks, teas, cold brews, smoothies, pastries and grilled sandwiches. The location has a drive-thru or you can sit and enjoy your drink inside. They have a lot of merchandise like hats, shirts and mugs, They also sell their coffee products to make at home. Better Buzz Coffee offers a number of flavored canned energy drinks called Buzz Energy. I was intrigued by their Moroccan Spice and Horchata Lattes, but opt for their classic Best Drink Ever. I wouldn't call it the best, but I did enjoy my first drink from here. I read that they are opening a location in the East Valley (closer to home) and look forward to trying some new flavors there. ”

“ California meets Arizona!!! This shop is such a classic in SoCal. Thankful they brought it to the desert. Worth the drive ( I'm about 40 mins away!) The shop is extremely instagramable. The atmosphere and buzz is so much fun! You must check out the merch. The cups + shirts are soooo cute and comfy!! I went for a visit to try their new fall menu. I tried a pumpkin spiced latte. Super super delicious & the beans are incredible. Every single employee was happy and very helpful. Can't wait for more locations to open. ”

“ Couldn't wait for Better Buzz to finally come over to AZ. Really enjoyed it when we were visiting in California. Some of the prior reviews are complaining about staff and their attitude, but overall we have had a decent experience with them. I have had a few people at the counter who didn't ring my drinks up properly but those situations were easy to fix. But it is hard to get the attention of any staff members if you need something after they hand you your drink. I understand they are busy, but if a customer is standing there and is waiting to get your attention, the least you can do is acknowledge them. We love their coffee and they offer really delicious flavors. Last time I opted for a smoothie because I couldn't do caffeine, unfortunately the mango smoothie isn't something I would get again. Lacked any true fruit flavor, very subtle and tasted watered down. Inside is always clean, never had an issue with that. My usual go to is either the hazelnut divinity or the snickerdoodle latte. They are on the sweet side, so I definitely ask for 50-75%. Give them a shot if you are in the area. ”
